Oh dear.
I wonder who the person was who sat and thought to themselves, “Gee, how funny would it be if there were salt and pepper shakers that made farting sounds when you use them?”
That person has a lot to answer for.
Sure enough, the appropriately named Farting Salt and Pepper Shakers (funnily enough the product has now been removed) are designed to “entertain or embarrass your friends… When the unsuspecting guest turns the shaker upside down, to their surprise it will make an embarrassing sound like they are ‘breaking wind’.”
I can’t see this appealing to anyone except five-year olds and teenage boys….and grown men.
